Me and Dorothy
Hi, I am Chelsea, owner and operator of Dorothy the Old Red Chevy.
I have always loved old cars and trucks, but years ago I fell in love with the "bull-nose" front bumper of the 1954 Chevrolet 3100. I had been on the hunt for several years when I stumbled across one for sale on Facebook of all places in May of 2021. I bought it, and I finally had my dream car. She was mostly original, still has the original straight 6 engine with the "4 on the floor" 4 speed transmission. Over the next few weeks, after some advice and help from my neighbors, I taught myself how to drive Dorothy, and I haven't looked back. I love to take pictures, so I am looking forward to growing my photography business, as well as renting Dorothy out to share with other photographers and people around Lubbock.
